In about 1820 the Marquise Busca Arconati Visconti, nee Serbelloni, hosts some nobles from Milan, France and Austria in her country house in Gorgonzola village. The Marquise wants to offer a rich banquet, showing them that the typical cheese of Gorgonzola is great food for aristocratic tastes too and not only for poor people! The chef of the Marquise needs help to prepare the magnificent banquet and Ginevra, the handmaiden of the Serbelloni family, selects a special cooking staff.

Primi del 1800. La marchesa Busca Arconati Visconti, nata Serbelloni, ospita la nobiltà milanese, austriaca e francese nella sua villa di campagna a Gorgonzola. A giorni la Marchesa darà un sontuoso pranzo per i suoi illustri amici, per dimostrare loro che il gorgonzola, non è un formaggio per poveri, ma è degno di comparire anche sulle tavole dei nobili. Ginevra, la governante di casa Serbelloni, sta aiutando lo Chef della Marchesa a selezionare la squadra che lo aiuterà nella preparazione...
