Il Castello Sforzesco
Sforza Castle is a castle in Milan, Italy, that used to be the seat and residence of the Duchy of Milan and one of the biggest citadels in Europe. It now houses several of the city's museums and art collections.

Il Castello Sforzesco è uno dei principali simboli di Milano e della sua storia. Fu costruito nel XV secolo da Francesco Sforza sui resti di una precedente fortificazione risalente al XIV secolo nota come Castrum Porte Jovis (Castello di porta Giovia o Zobia). Fra il Cinquecento e il Seicento era una delle principali cittadelle militari d'Europa; restaurato in stile storicista da Luca Beltrami tra il 1890 e il 1905, ora è sede di importanti istituzioni culturali.
